Accelerated Pace

This is a program for students eager to complete their MBA-Public Health degree with speed. Online study is designed with consideration to location and schedule, and to create flexibility for students excited to complete a degree and begin the next phase of their careers.

How does the program prepare me for today’s public health needs?

All our programs deliver a student-centric, evidence-based education that includes topics relevant to an evolving public health environment. As an MBA-Public Health student, you can expect in-depth learning in the intersection of business and healthcare. Our curricula also address telehealth, special populations, and upcoming trends in medicine.

Will my previous coursework transfer into the MBA program?

We can evaluate your previous coursework for credit. For graduate programs, WCU accepts up to a maximum of 9 credits.

WCU may accept credit for previous courses taken from other academic institutions as long as the course meets the requirements of the specific academic program for which it is being considered and a grade of B- (80%) or better was achieved for a graduate course as documented on official transcripts. Each program maintains its own transfer credit requirements.

How long does it take to complete the MBA program?

Our accelerated program pace allows you to earn your degree in as few as 12 months. The Working Professional pace lets you take fewer classes per semester, earning your degree in 24 months and providing flexibility when you need it. Your admissions advisor can help you determine which pace is right for you.
